Welcome to Choices

The EMTs and Paramedics of American Medical Response in Santa Clara County created the CHOICES program in response to the increasing frequency of motor vehicle collisions involving teenagers and young adults. Many collisions and the resulting injuries or fatalities within this age group occur because of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or at unsafe speeds. The program consists of real life accounts from emergency medical responders and a video with photographs of real vehicle collisions that have resulted in serious injuries and fatalities. The presentation stresses the importance of making the right choice about getting behind the wheel and illustrates the consequences if you do not.
